Here's how it works

  • Register your flights at least 12 hours before their scheduled departure.
  • If one of your flights is delayed by two hours or more, we'll send you an SMS and email giving you the option to receive either £50 for each registered passenger or passes to a premium airport lounge - subject to availability.
  • Your compensation will be processed instantly by bank transfer - as long as you have registered your bank details with us. If you choose airport lounge passes, they will be emailed to you straight away.

Delayed luggage? Rapid compensation.

You arrive at your destination, but your checked-in luggage doesn't. It's never the best way to start a holiday. Thankfully we can make things a little easier with speedy compensation for luggage delays. Just make sure you register your flights with us at least 12 hours before their scheduled departure.

Here's how it works.

  • Notify the airport about your lost luggage. They will give you a 10-digit reference called a Property Irregularity Report (PIR) number.

  • Submit your PIR number to us along with a couple of additional details and we will begin processing your claim immediately.

  • No PIR? No problem. You can still submit a claim – but we will need a few additional details and your claim will take a little longer to process.

  • Once your claim is processed and accepted you will receive £50 instantly.

Our instant luggage delay compensation is in addition to our lost luggage cover, which allows you to claim up to £125 for every 24 hours you are without your luggage (up to a maximum of £600). Find out more here.
